Victor Vazquez was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, and lived there as a child. Victor and his five brothers and sisters moved to Yonkers, New York when he was 10. They were all raised alongside his four cousins by their maternal Aunt Wanda Romero, and Uncle Daniel Delgado.

Victor and his brothers were taught boxing by their Uncle Daniel Delgado, later training at and representing the Yonkers Police Athletic League. Although Victor was an excellent amateur boxer, he had a style built by his Uncle for the professional ranks.

At a young age Victor entered the professional ranks, and quickly earned the reputation as a very exciting and skilled fighter. After a knockout win over an local undefeated prospect, Marshall Kauffman of King’s Promotions signed him to a promotional contract.

Under King’s Promotions, Victor has been keeping busy turning in impressive performances. Usually fighting the local fighters in and around the Philadelphia area, Victor continues to win and grow as a fighter following the plan King’s Promotions has mapped out for him.

Victor is a graduate of Yonkers High School, and works helping his Uncle Train fighters, as well as volunteering his time, giving back to the Yonkers Police Athletic League. Victor is trained by his Uncle Daniel Delgado at Animals Gym in Yonkers, and is managed by Yonkers Police Captain Bryant Pappas.

In 2016, in recognition for his achievements, Victor received a proclamation from the Mayor of Yonkers. The Honorable Michael Spano, recognized his hard work, success, and community involvement, and made September 14, 2016 Victor Vazquez day in the City of Yonkers.
