Kings Promotions returned to the Rosecroft Raceway to start off 2017 in the DMV on the beltway. In front of a raucous crowd, fighters from the area dominated their opponents in impressive fashion. In the Main event Mykal Fox out pointed a tough Tre’Sean Wiggins who came to fight. This was the closest fight of the night with 1 judge scoring the match a tie.
Luther Smith picked up where he left off scoring another impressive 1st round knock out over undefeated Darnell Pierce.
Marcus Bates scored a late knockout over Alec McGee from Reno Nevada. This was a competitive bout until Bates scored a 1 punch knockout in the 6th and final round. The referee did not give McGee a count which infuriated his corner. Judges had Bates ahead on the cards.
Tyre Irby earned his 2nd victory over a game Lamont White. Irby dominated the fight on a way to a unanimous decision.
Greg Outlaw Jr defeated Kashon Hutchinson out of Reading Pa. Outlaw won a majority decision with one judge scorin the fight a draw.
Justin Hurd scored a knock down at the bell during the 2nd round. Dawond Pickney was in a bad shape and the fight was stopped in between rounds.
Greg Clark earned his victory improving too 1-1 over Patrick Rivera who fell to 2-1.
Kings Promotions next card is Saturday February 18th when hall of fame Roy Jones Jr takes on bare knuckle boxing legend Bobby Gunn.
